Finally, finally, I have internet in my apartment. Gone are the days of last week when I trudged to the Killam Library three times a day. Anyway, here’s what is different about this fine city and the one I call home:
1) As soon as you take your foot off the curb, any car in a 200 m radius stops to let you cross. It’s actually embarassing, I’d rather dodge cars than awkwardly walk across the road.
2) Bars stay open until 4 AM! Halifax is basically Las Vegas!
3) Yesterday, the local TV news reported on a spider who caught a hummingbird in a web, and was able to wrap and eat it!
4) The weather is crazy.
my hummingbird is dead?!??!???
